Summary :

We took this 1950’s Edina rambler and gave it some much needed room by building a seamless family room, eating area, mudroom and master suite addition over a newly fully excavated basement along with a kitchen update.

In the kitchen, the homes existing painted cabinets were kept for the most part, we just added cabinets to the end of the large island and china-hutch built-in, along with changing out the decorative hinges and handles. Old cracked tile countertops were replaced with gorgeous new Welshpool Black Cambria two-tiered peninsula countertops and splash. New appliances, a Blanco black under-mount sink, and red oak select hardwood floor running through the rooms are relatively simple updates, but give this family a fresh feel and guests a surprising impact.
